เกาะ "Skira" มีอาณาบริเวณประมาณ 220 ตารางกิโลเมตร ฉะนั้น ฉากรบในเกมจึงเป็นแบบเปิดกว้างให้เข้าประหัตประหารกันด้วยยุทธศาสตร์การรบ ของตัวเอง โดยตัวระบบปัญญาประดิษฐ์ หรือ AI ของลูกทีมเราและศัตรูจะมีความชาญฉลาด ตามแท็คติกทางทหารที่ใช้กันจริงๆ

หน่วยรบในเกมก็มีให้ใช้ตั้งแต่กองทหารราบ,เฮลิคอปเตอร์,หน่วยสเปเชียล ฟอร์ซ และรถถัง ซึ่งเราจะเล่นได้ทั้งแบบตัวคนเดียวหรือร่วมมือกันระหว่างผู้เล่นคนอื่นๆก็ ได้ นอกจากนี้ ยังมีระบบเลือกสั่งลูกทีมให้ปฏิบัติตามหน้าที่ต่างๆในสไตล์ Squad-Based Combat อีกด้วย ทั้งนี้ ตัวเกมถูกพัฒนาด้วยเอนจิน ego ที่ใช้พัฒนาเกมหลายๆตัวในเครือโค้ดมาสเตอร์ส
